Looks like it’s back. I’m looking forward to the rivalry being reignited (unlike the forced rivalry with Oklahoma). And it happened organically. This will be fun.

My dad would always talk about the rivalry when he was alive. He bought a the good, the bad, and the ugly shirt with Ole Miss be use he had to have it when he seen it. This will spark some of that previous generation’s fire.

My grandfather was as straight laced as they come but would bust out a “Go to Hell Ole Miss” chant with the best of them. The rivalry is legit but died over the years. Glad it’s back tbh

We’ve got maybe $45M in NIL. I’m not sure how Golding will do but the financial commitment at OM is too high to be bad for too long in the NIL era.
Also, the branding and storylines for this rivalry is made for the Disney/ABC/ESPN era.
I do think we need to start a stadium addition to 75k to take advantage.

Saban made out okay. It’s ol miss, not bama or else I’d say to protect our campus trees.
