With all the Kiffin talk, SEC Championship and Playoffs, you’re not getting off this easy …
Vanderbilt came in Neyland and won by 3 TDs on Tennessee’s Senior Day.
That said, where are y’all at on Heupel? Hot seat? He’s fine, but most show improvement? Or, all is well on ole Rocky Top

People forget our starting QB tried to blackmail us a few months before the season and we cut bait and got a D2 QB in the summer. We didn’t have incredibly high expectations this season
The defense took a big step back this year and that needs to addressed. I don’t know if that’s an issue with coordinators or just that our secondary was really beaten up all year. Maybe both.
Heupel is not on any sort of hot seat IMO. None of my family or friends in Knoxville have even entertained the idea of getting rid of him

Tim Banks definitely needs to go but we had several key injuries on defense and we got a one year rental late in the Spring on a Temu quarterback rental. It is what it is. Vanderbilt was the better team

Tell that to Whiskey and his half-a-dozen alters who were telling us all summer and fall how 'Joey Football' was going to light up the rest of the SEC and lead the Vols to a natty.

You LSU cocksuckers went 7-5
Remember preseason when y'all were all over social media? "We're going to the 'ship and Nuss will win the Heisman."
SEVEN - FIVE
Oh, and you just made a never won a damn thing in 20 years, narcissistic drama drama queen the highest paid coach in CFB.
Maybe your stupid arse should look inward. When you do, you will see a moron in there staring back at you..
What an idiot.

I get that the Nico drama threw y’all for a loop, but you lost to every decent team you played. Some were at least competitive, and arguably y’all should’ve beaten UGA. Still, there were ZERO Vol fans preseason who would have accepted a 21 point beatdown at home to Vandy.

I get the Tim banks complaint, but firing him won’t fix shvt. Huepel needs to stop being a fast tempo focused Offensive coordinator and more-so a head coach. The team is soft af now. Tim banks didn’t only score 3 points in the second half. Tim Banks didn’t miss a field goal against Georgia. Tim Banks didn’t throw that game turning pick 6 against bama.

Georgia
Alabama
Ole Miss
A&M
Oklahoma
Vanderbilt
Even throw in Texas
Have CFP playoff level hopes.
LSU
Auburn
Arkansas
Florida
Have new coaches and are looking forward to the future.
Tenner
Kentucky
State
Carolina
Mizzou
What do they have?
It's basically purgatory.

I’m convinced that those isn’t/aren’t even UT fan(s)
Based on how insane they are and that they are always trying to shite on LSU for some reason I’d bet it’s a weird Alabama fan trolling

Uhh…Florida and Arkansas fans are very much not looking forward to the future right now.
Btw Clark Lea is 1-3 against JH and half your team is graduating after this season.
To answer OP, Josh is not on the hot seat, but the honeymoon period is over. He has to address some recurring issues, or else we will be looking for a new coach in the next year or two

Says a lot about that dead program.

Heupel has an elite offensive mind. He needs some improvement on player discipline and management to become an elite head coach. Time will tell if he takes the next step.

I am good with Heupel. We had a lot of Defensive injuries. We do need to go to the portal for Defensive players. Offensive we should be fine next year.

Heupel took over a 3-7 program and went to the playoffs last year with a freshman QB
Since taking over he’s won 7, 11, 9, 10, and 8 games.
We are pretty content with him at the moment

Vanderbilt will be nothing next year without the quarterback.

That sure sounds like hot seat talk to me.
