Has a coach who has won so little ever generated this much outrage?

Gus Malzahn has accomplished more as a head coach.

The ceiling is high, sure, but the floor is also low.

I’m not saying he’s bad.

I am saying he’s had many opportunities and his greatest achievement is a CUSA title.

If he never does anything good with lsu and gets fired then where will he go next? What if this was his 1 chance to make the playoffs?
It’s probably not the case but it would be pretty funny.

I dunno, Jimbo took a lot of heat from SEC fans when he signed with the Aggy.

I mean..... he could have just left a note in their lockers, or stood at the podium and said "I will not be the head coach at Alabama". My bad, wrong guy.... "I will not be the head coach at LSU".

I like Lane and he is a great coach, but he is now a national villain. If I were a Louisiana State fan I would just embrace being the bad guys, especially with their innate inferiority complex.

And you've had doubts about your coach since week 1

He also had a national title, conference title, and playoff appearance.

Malzahn’s accomplishments as a head coach came without Cam Newton

It’s the way it goes down that upsets most people.

People take things personal, at the end of the day it’s just business.

LSU is doing good business, it just happens to come at the expense of Ole Miss.

I hate it for the Rebels and hope they can recover in short order.

You add all of that up and it equals nothing. Deboer will be gone well before Kiffin leaves LSU.
