At the end of the day, Kiffin will flame out at LSU and Sumrall will be terrible. We will see this all again in a few years.
But… Florida is getting a playoff-experienced coach and LSU is not. Hell, even Brian Kelly coached in playoffs and nattys. Kiffin hasn’t won anything.
Oh, and it’s going to be extra easy for LSU to be hated on with lyin’ Kiffin at the helm.

He’s about to in a couple of weeks. Florida and Tulane are classy and will let him coach in the playoffs.

Yet most of your fandom on 247 are ready to riot over the hire, want your shitty AD fired and your biggest booster drawn and quartered.
Meanwhile our 3 week old AD won the coaching battle, fricked 3 other conference programs out of the coach they wanted , and 2 of those programs fan bases are in total meltdowns currently.
You guys got a good coach but don’t act like you’re happy that you got beat out by LSU for the guy that was a lock for FL according to your insiders for 3 weeks.

Kiffin wanted to come to UF. Our biggest booster sabotaged it along with the dumb arse Stricklin. He gave Kiffin a deadline of noon Friday. That was a weak attempt at placating the fans. Oh, we tried, but Kiffin just wouldn't make up his mind. They don't like him and were not willing to pay what LSU is. That is exactly what happened. I hope nothing but the worst for LSU and your entire dumb coonass fanbase.

Nope, I know you LSU needs this to be true, but our insecure booster demanded that Kiffin get on board with an answer and cared more about not letting Kiffin thinking he was running the hiring process.
I don't say this with any kind of gotcha rebuttal. Our dumbass booster submarined the hire out of ego, we have witnesses. So I am not claiming this a some big win for us, but Kiffin was for sure interested.
