I get the joke, but some of these jobs are just slam dunk destination jobs and Ole Miss just aint one.

For those saying Oklahoma is a Top10 football team ….

It’s not.

Geez I thought LSU’s offense was a disaster. Didn’t realize OU’s is worse.

think lsu is getting close to having to having more coaches in 60 years than OU has had in its entire 110 year history .

That’s great. Apparently coaches (who actually matter when determining how good a job is) feel like that’s not an issue when comparing LSU to Oklahoma. Sound like your priorities may be different than them.

And the JC wins a National Championship every 4-5 years

How are you doing?

And your premise is stupid

Timing is involved with coaching changes.
The job has to be open at the right time.

The offense the last two years has been historically bad. That is not normal any more than our terrible defenses last decade were the norm for OU.

And before anyone claims we are only bad because of SEC defenses, we have been bad offensively even against cupcakes.

No doubt the LSU team we played is not a normal LSU team but neither is the OU team.

Even if Venables struggles to turn that around, I don’t think we could remain as bad offensively as we have been. If they remain that way Venables won’t keep his job as defenses production will have peaks and valleys.

LSU has just hired their 5th coach since 2000.

Compare that to the following teams' number of coaches since 2000:

Alabama - 5
Auburn - 5
Tennessee - 6
Florida - 8
