I’d have to go with NOT letting Kiffin coach the playoff.

I would let Eli come back and coach before I let this attention hoor anywhere near VH stadium.

You can’t let him coach if he is threatening to poach players

The second LK agrees to a $100m+ contract, he gives up the right to coach another team. If he wants to coach at Ole Miss then he should stay at Ole Miss. Seriously, should Ole Miss let him recruit for LSU sitting in his office at Oxford?

Burning bridges is usually not a good idea.
The Ole Miss admins should put the best interests of their team and program first and not just let but expect Kiffin to finish what he developed over this historic season.
They should thank Kiffin and his players for a great season and wish him well at LSU.
This will send a positive message to potential replacement coaches and players and to the football world in general.
Meanwhile, Kiffin will be stepping into a very controversial and negative environment at LSU.

If Lane takes the LSU job, it would be insanity for Ole Miss to let him coach the playoffs. Insanity.

That's not how it's done in the corporate world. The moment any high level executive mentions he is leaving....he is shown the fricking door within minutes...relationships be damned.
Then the lawyers are brought in to determine damages, penalties or any way to mitigate damages to the corporation.
And collegiate football, with NIL and the portal, is no different.

The fact that ole Miss offered him more money than LSU and he still considering LSU.. I like what Drink is doing at Mizzou yeah he hasn't done anything yet however if he ever gets to the top of the mountain ..he will be the first..I don't know why Kiffin doesn't want to be the first at Ole Miss ..then you're building a true legacy

It’s a no-brainer. You give up on your playoff team, fans, and school, you give up your right to coach for them.
Can you imagine the fan reaction to him at games? It will not be pretty. I’m not so sure the players are gonna react any better after this player’s meeting.
And, I’m sure LSU fans want him to hit the ground running asap.

We’ve also seen him this situation before in the playoffs and Saban fired him. That was only calling plays he couldn’t handle, no way or could run two programs or give Ole Miss anywhere close to his best effort

Which is exactly why they need to get the fox out of the hen house as quickly as possible. I'm sure Lane would love to put another feather in his cap during the playoffs, but the interests he would be looking out for would be himself and LSU. You can't serve two masters.

The bigger threat is taking his staff. If his ultimatum is true, and the coaches follow him today, OM could miss the playoffs altogether. I mean, you can't let them in without a staff... losing the HC is one thing, but the whole staff?
This could force OM to name one of the coods HC just to try and salvage a playoff birth.

The poaching on the recruiting trail begins immediately.

I understand Kiffin leaving for possibly greener pastures. But once he tells them he is gone, there is no way in hell, you let him coach there again. Ole Miss may not be LSU but they are not North Texas either. Have some pride. And if he cared that much about finishing what he started, the thought of leaving in the middle of a playoff run would never have entered his mind.
Now he's acting a woman, who initiated the divorce. But doesn't why the husband is kicking her out.

Kiffin cares about Kiffin, like Saban cares about Saban. I’m not justifying it. That’s just the world today, unfortunately.
