Duke makes the ACCCG at 7-5 if Cal beats SMU?

I think I heard that crazy mess that Duke makes the ACCCG at 7-5 if SMU loses to Cal tonight. If true then James Madison or the Mountain West conference winner could get a 2nd group of five playoff spot if Duke beats VA (likely opponent) in the ACCCG.

It would be hilarious if Duke won the acc at 8-5, American champ and JMU get in, and Miami doesn't get an at large.

If Duke did win the ACC at 8-5 its almost guaranteed they change the rules to assure the power 4 champions all get a spot.

I think if ACC champ is ranked lower than best G5 champ; then that takes care of BOTH requirements - 4 highest rated conference champs and G5 - so that ONLY one G5 would get in and that actually frees up a spot for Miami

No I think it's the 5 highest conference champs period so the ACC would be shut out of the playoff. lol

I would love for Duke to win the ACC and the whole conference is left out I know the ACC refs will be trying to assist VA though to prevent that.
