I don't understand the fascination with Kiffen. Has he ever won anything ? Will he really get $16 million ? How do you justify it in one of the poorest states ? Very interesting times .

Lane is the next overhype. Just like Arch and Manning. Gonna be fun seeing LSU finally realizing they just made another embarrassing and costly mistake.

Kiffen must believe he can get it done … if not he will be fired in four years . I wonder if he keeps his current dc or goes with the one at LSU already .

As a life long Louisiana resident I shake my head. It’s a shame we care so little for education but are willing to give a football coach $16,000,000.
I know it’s not the state’s money, most is from private donors, but he is not worth it.

Why is Sark bad ? Only coach in playoffs two years in a row, won regular season but lost championship game in over time in first year, seems pretty good to me.

Overhyped and hugely overrated. Does 0-3 ring any bells for you? I’m gonna miss not having UTa on our schedule next year. That sure win was nice.

Lane is genuinely a good football coach but the “Lane!” phenomenon of recent weeks is the always amazing result of hype feeding upon itself.
Kind of like the Pet Rock craze of the 1970s.
