There is no way any SEC program would ever lower itself to play a road game in Amherst, Massachusetts ever again!

Thus they made a good warm up for our renewed series with kansas. Hard to find teams that consistently play at that level.

It’s literally the equivalent of LSU going play a road game at Bowling Green.

Samford would have finished FCS 0-12 if not for VMI

Well...if you must know...when these games were being scheduled, 10 years prior, we were in the midst of a racial, social, protest facade in 2015. Our coach resigned due to health..(wink, wink, nod, nod) our AD bailed to Baylor..coming off an actual horrific sex scandal, and no o e wanted jobs here..(see Odom & Anderson..[not Mike either]), and we had trouble getting games scheduled 8-10 years out..so we did a home & home with UMass..who was a decent buy type of win..in the mid 2010s...Our program went on the fritz for 5 years until Drink started turning the Titanic, over some fabricated protests driven by an administration and ESPN...and we couldn't even fight back, and had to take it. So unlike LSU.. who let sexual harassment run wild, and recently made a main participant as their AD, and kept on rolling...we had to start over..perception is real unfortunately....but we saw New England in the Fall and had Lobsta..

No worries, I now understand how a state/school can't grasp a 100+ Million $ DEAD money pit they are digging on a legal case that is airtight & bullet proof in 2024.
