Imagine…

At the start of the season you call your team your best ever. There’s real excitement in the program. It’s obvious people are buying what you’re selling.

You start 5-0, beating your historical rival then South Carolina, who was in the top 15 at the time. You lose a close one to Bama. Win a close one at Auburn. Lose a close one at Vandy.

As the wheels fall off you openly flirt with other job openings via your agent and strategically placed media sources. When reporters ask about the rumors you started you scoff and gaslight.

Then, during two game broadcasts, the announcers mention conversations in which you’ve shared you “want to be somewhere that gives you the best chance to win.”

Oh, and this plays out as you’re getting your arse kicked because you’re (a) distracted and (b) refuse to adjust.

Meanwhile, you bitch that the issue is money as you stand inside 500 million worth of renovations and collect 9 million annually.

I realize opposing fans have always believed Drinkwitz is nerdy, but it’s worse.

It’s okay to level up.
It’s okay to want more.

It is not okay to bite the hand that feeds you, especially as it’s trying to give you exactly what you said you need.

Nerdy is fine, entitled jerk is not.

Drink has no integrity.

He's a fugly flirt.

I did. :)

Bottom line is it’s tough to invest in a program when the leader isn’t invested.

Drink was humble his first few years. Now he’s full of himself and definitely bitting the hand that feeds him.

Mizzou was a perfect spot for him, but he’s decided to not dance with the one who brought you.

Well if there’s truth to the rumor of Penn state, maybe the Nittany lions can finally beat OSU

I laughed at this.

Then I cried.

Woe is me.

Both Mizzou and Drink are overvaluing themselves, based on two good years vs weak schedules.

I have noticed a great reduction in the number of Missouri fans taunting over "parity" and that "NIL was making things even" in recent weeks.

Mizzou is a few plays from beating several good teams. It’s football… deal with it. Lost their starting QB for several games, had to start their #3 freshman QB.

You fricks are delusional. Take your starting QB away and see how your record looks. Anything that was said before the season starts was IF they stayed healthy. Nobody thought Zollers would be the starter for several games.

As I’ve said 1000 times to you buffoons, how long has the NIL-portal era been in-effect? Talk to me in a decade and see where we are at. Indiana is the prime example as we sit today.
