I’m out of the country but had a question on Vanderbilt

I have not seen rankings for a couple of weeks. Where is Vanderbilt ranked and does Vanderbilt have to beat Tennessee to make the playoffs?
I always wondered what would happen if Coach Saban coached at Vanderbilt but Coach Lea has Vandy right there and hopefully can get into the playoffs. That would be awesome.
I opened Tigerdroppings and couldn’t believe the LSU final score. Just forfeit the last game and begin storing up the equipment for next season.

Vandy would need to beat Tennessee and probably need some other teams to lose
I hate to say it like this because I don't agree with it, but even if they win they still have an uphill battle because they're Vanderbilt

It’s absolute bullshite you have teams like BYU and Utah ahead of them in the rankings, and it just goes to show how biased and compromised the committee is. They know damn well Vanderbilt would mutilate either of those two teams. The ACC and the group whatever does not need to make the playoff either.

No.
They have to beat Tennessee, and badly, in order to have an outside chance of making the playoffs.
