You can't blame a guy for getting paid. Don't act like y'all wouldn't do it either. This is a money game... Hell, Deboer may bail for Penn State.

You can say you understand or whatever, but I'm not just gonna accept it as normal and celebrate it. It'd be nice to see people do things for reasons other than money and those are the people I think should be celebrated.
Someone taking the money ain't special to me. Especially when they are set for life.
Tell me it's because he wants to win a championship and likes his odds better or something. But as far as anyone just taking the money and nothing else, meh.

It’s not even that. All 3 are offering similar HC money for Kiffin. The difference maker is the NIL yearly budget and the prestige of LSU compared to Ole Miss and even UF now.

The last several years have told us that (a) his chances of winning a national championship are much greater at LSU, and (b) whe he wins a national championship, he's going to get fired anyway.

It does matter until the Indianas start winning national titles consistently.
So long as it’s the same schools winning titles, prestige matters just as much now as it did before NIL.

The number sounds great until you realize LSU can’t live up to it. Look at the way they did the last guy and realize what a shitshow LSU is.

As much as I enjoy you guys melting, I don’t like a Lane hire. Cignetti is the best up and coming coach. It sucks for us that Indiana expressed his contract.

I generally agree but I'm not so sure that Lane is already set for life. His ex-wife (and the gubmint) get a lot of his Ole Miss money right now.
