This should still be a thing. It was already getting fiery. I still can't believe LSU fired him. He currently has NC State rolling. This will go down as one of the biggest blunders in SEC sports history. Woodward has to be one of the dumbest AD's alive.

Barley is good rivals to Oats.

They are buddies now. Wade told the story before the McNeese/Bama game about how nobody would schedule them and he called Oats out of desperation and Oats said absolutely, let’s get it done. Been in pretty constant contact since then.

When the inevitable happens (McMahon gets fired), LSU should throw the bank at him to see if he will bite. LSU has SEC money it can throw around (well, maybe not right now with the current Brian Kelly buyout that Woodward is responsible for) that NC State doesn't have. With Woodward out of the way, he might consider it. Only thing is NC State is a basketball school.
