This is the only good thing about the portal. A kid that wasn't highly recruited can work himself into the draft conversation by transferring into a more prominent program. Keep an eye on Mestemaker from North Texas. He'll be in the portal and starting at a bigger name program next year.

Seems like we’ve had great edge rushers for a long time now.

Bubbakar been a difference maker on that ND defense. They went from giving up a shite tin of points to Miami and aTm to having a much better showing. Of course the only team worth a shite they’ve beaten since then is Southern Cal but they’ve been blowing everyone out for the most part

Xavier Atkins had couple sacks taken away because of irrelevant penalty away from the play. He is only a sophomore and a stud. Thanks LSU

End zone, 3rd deck. Damn, he gets leverage.

The thing that impresses me the most about Howell though is he is much more than just a sack specialist. The final shot for USC with it 4th and long and they had him drop into coverage and he took a perfect angle to run Sellers out of bounds was extremely high level football for a DE and I'm betting that play will make him more money in June than if he just got another sack.

He had 3 passes batted down in a row in that game as well. Dude is a baller.
