Georgia can’t beat Alabama
Texas can’t beat Georgia
Oklahoma can’t beat Texas
Alabama can’t beat Oklahoma.

This thing is going to be a mess. It’s too many big dogs for one conference to be healthy.

Not if they made 4 pods of 4 and stayed at 8 games. Still have tough schedules but can still win your pod yet play 5 teams from other pods each year.

I agree. I don’t see any other way this working out without one and most likely two good SEC teams being left out of the playoff every year otherwise.

Already making excuses. Ridiculous.

What OU and Texas bring to the SEC are must watch football games.

Literally every conference game is must watch and it’s been an awesome change so far.

maybe, but they're here now & we might as well make the best of it

I certainly feel better about OK's chances to beat Bama than I do about Ole Miss, LSU & even Georgia

I don't agree with your premise.
There's a pattern to be sure but "can't" is unproven over time.
And the fact that there are many strong teams in the conference as opposed to 1 or 2 makes for a stronger overall conference which has been supported by how well SEC teams perform in bowl games.

She's right...its like deer hunting. You can let little bucks walk, shoot and miss some big ones, not see anything at all for weeks at a time, but sooner or later, the stars will align and you'll get a big trophy buck and it will be worth it. We haven't beaten Bama with the consistency they have us, but when we did take them to the cleaners, it was for the trophy. Football is a game of patience, luck and preserverance.

I guess you need to be reminded that was a Bama team without several key starters. You had just been whipped thoroughly by the same team a couple of weeks earlier.

Don't start that pussified stuff again. Even the smart Bama fans have turned against that whole injury excuse. Remember what a former, wise Bama poster on this very forum said; "Championship teams have championship depth." UGA had injuries in that game too, but we plugged in and kept winning.

Will let you have that one since that’s all it’s been out of the last dozen or so attempts.
