Inject that into my veins.

He needs to be injected into NYC for the Heisman ceremony.

He has done this twice. He only had 5 incompletes against Ole Miss but I think he only had 4 total TD in that game.

Gunner not being in NY would be an insane move. I don’t think he will win it if I’m being honest it’ll likely be between IU and Ohio States QB but he deserves to be reckonized

The powers may not be too keen on Gunners persona. He comes across as being very vanilla when he is interviewed.

What they don't realize is that he is one of those individuals with a very high performance side of his IQ profile rather than high on the verbal side.

Gunner was initially a recipient of a HOPE scholarship and evidently kept his overall GPA well above 3.0 during his entire undergraduate academic career.

He is one of the smartest QBs in Power 5 football circles.

Realistically, yes he is very good and is getting recognized this year. Next year will probably be when he’s in that conversation.

He should absolutely be invited to NY.

Hey Lexis, preseason and early season I was staunchly in the "wait and see" opinion on Gunner.

I have waited and I have seen.

You were right. He's excellent. You called it.

I tend to agree. His numbers aren't staggering simply due to him being a first year starter and the competition he's played against. OSU and Indiana QB's have played literally NO ONE and have a lot gaudier numbers. Next year I look for him to be in the conversation a lot more.

Thanks, I don't get a lot right but I got this right and Gunner, from the time I saw him in the Corky Kell 7-on-7 passing camp back in '22, just had "it."
