If he didn't have the Manning name, he would be a backup at McNeese

Dude sucks

He’s playing a lot better but that sidearm stuff just cost him an int. Terrible looking throw.

I get the sentiment but if he was at McNeese, there would be no pressure and he would do great there.

At this point he should be killing it not "getting better," and even that is questionable.

Has weird mechanics for a QB. He panics a lot too against a legit pas rush. He’ll make the NFL as a career backup

We are trash at football I’ll get that out of the way.
Saying that.
He would start at LSU easily

lol the manning name alone crushes this … marinovich was rightly hyped but just had a mental breakdown … manning never played anyone in HS

If LSU and UTx traded QBs UTx would have the better of the deal.

quote:I remember him. Arch was way more overhyped coming out of HS. Every freaking day, people were speculating on where he was going to play. If his name was Smith, and played for the same HS, he'd been lucky to get an offer from Miss State. Marinovich at least played against good, future CFB talent. Arch was a mediocre fish in a very small pond, .....with a legendary name.

It's wild that you can watch that half and think Arch was the problem. It would be a 3 point game at worst if his receivers could catch, I actually thought he played well.

Arch is average at best. Might be better next year

Receivers have dropped four passes in the first half alone. The Texas offensive line is one of the worst pass blocking lines in college football, and they were the main reason for the interception as the defense was in Manning‘s face as he threw the ball.

Some recruiting "EXPERTS" listed him as the greatest HS player of all times. LSU fans tried to tell Texas that he was a 3 star with a 5 star name.

The hold from the db and his high throw cost him and int. No call of course. Watch the second replay the db completely turns our wr around holding his shoulder pad

I agree, his delivery is awkward and I think that’s why his receivers miss as often as they do.
