Would a 10-3 Bama make it?

If they beat Auburn I don’t think there is a scenario where they don’t go to Atlanta which actually works against them. Would be a lock at 10-2 but they will have to play for their season and win the SEC.

If they let SMU off the hook for losing a conference championship game last year I don't think any sec championship loser with 10 wins gets left out

Not if OU is 10-3 or Texas .

With a close loss and some help, yes.

Depends on if some other team’s key player gets injured or not… gotta pass the eye test ya know

When the talking heads start mentioning bama and the "eye test", you'll know the answer

If a 3loss team makes it, it'll be Bama

Bama resume still better. Even with the pub and FSU losses.

A&M and Georgia win out
No. We still have the tie breaker with Georgia.

So Kentucky needs to beat Vandy to keep Bama out, make it make sense. Tiebreakers should be head to head, then should be highest ranked SEC team

Can we all start to admit that the 12 team playoff system is dumb?
This loss tonight should have knocked out Alabama from NC contention. It's a big arse game between 2 blue blood schools and it doesn't actually mean shite.
And now we're talking about how in a certain situation, another loss still doesn't fricking matter.
Why are they doing this bullshite? It's just cheapened the entire thing.

They couldn’t be as they wouldn’t have played in the SeCCG.

Yes...if they beat auburn and the third loss is in the SECCG. Losing in a conference title game isn't supposed to hurt your cfp bid...only help it if you win.

The scenario is Georgia winning out. Pretty easy. Georgia is the best team in the SEC.

The expanded playoff means these teams don't get punished for playing these types of games. It will actually help football. In the past OU made sure one of our OOC was a P5 that was a bigger name. We still do, this year our schedule includes Michigan, LSU, Alabama, Tennessee ,and TexAss. Not to mention Ole Miss, South Carolina, Auburn, and Mizzou. Sure it's tough, but you get s few mulligans.
