This is the cultural problem that must be purged. Everyone must be fired and most of the current roster must go. A fifteen-year long "woe is me, we'll find a way to lose" that average fans have picked up on.

It's not like the basketball program hasn't gotten that way also. Let me guess, they're gonna sign a great class. "Best roster since the 90s". Lose an early season non-con. "We'll be better off for this game happening. We needed this". Then they start 1-4 in conference play, back their way into the tournament, and miraculously win two games. Start the process over.

Don't get me started on baseball.

We've been saying this since Bert and have "cleaned house" 3 times for the same results under two different ADs.

I think we just suck.

I disagree. To me, Morris is a separate category and was hired by Jerry Jones. Yuracheck hired Pittman only and to me that's just a continuation of the Bert era.

Just hire a young, successful G-5 coach for the love of God.

Chad was 14-22 at SMU.

He was not a "successful" G-5 coach. Silverfield, Eric Morris, Alex Golesh, etc. are not just "different flavors of Chad Morris". There should be no "leary-ness" of successful up-and-comers.

Just don't hire the unsuccessful up-and-comers with a losing record.

I just watch casually. Start the game about 30 minutes behind and give it another 30 minute head start in the 2nd half. Skip though all the commentary and expectations between plays

I've been screaming this since the Morris days. I don't get it. Yeah, we may end up with a dud. I wanted Neal Brown at the end of 2016. Look how he ended up. Norvell was probably #3 on my list. Look how he ended up. It's always going to be a risk and that's just part of it, but there are simple ways to minimize the chance of failure and maximize the chance of success. Just mitigate the risk in the most logical way, which is to just hire a coach with a high degree of success as a head coach somewhere in FBS football. Anywhere. Bonus points if it's success sustained longer than one year, and/or with another HC's players from the previous year. It worked out with Petrino v1.0. It failed with Bert. Since Bert, we haven't even fricking tried.

I don't understand why we keep trying to get cute with this shite. It's like we keep forgetting the first two rules of the game: 1) Hire a known winner, 2) don't hire a known loser.

If we're going to shoot ourselves in the foot by taking a risk, at least take a novel risk. We could have hired Kevin Kelley back in the days when he was the only one refusing to punt on fourth down and at least thrown a wrench into the system.

Not this week, we had to redo water lines at the deer camp. Oak tree roots will make underground PVC move and once it's been there for 25 years it doesn't like to move. Results are a water line continuously flowing and the pump never stops.

From Nutt - chaggy year 1, time set aside to watch every game, FCS opponent in LR on a $40.00 PPV with Stoerner giving us enlightened on the game, sure no problem if stop what I was going to watch the game if I wasn't attending in person.

Chaggy year two obvious wast if time 2 games in, if I wasnt doing anything I'd watch.

Covid meant there wasn't much to do, the UGA game sucked me back in, year three I'd watch the replay if the timing wasn't convenient.

I'm back to year 2 chaggy, I didn't watch today, didn't listen on the radio, decided I'm no longer sitting on my arse and I'm going to finish my projects. Saturdays will be spent enjoying said completed projects. Basketball had the convenience of half the season played during the week.

It's obvious HY is fine with wrecking your Saturday by having a program that is locking down the 11-1 kick off which means you have to stop and take a three hour break. This is obviously a revenue scam to save the light bill from night games.

Thankfully basketball has march and I'll take time out for that.
