Have you noticed they don't measure as much as they used to?

If it's close now they just wave through the first down. I don't see many chain gang measurements anymore.

It's hard to beat that yeller line they put on the screen. I've never seen it be wrong.

Headsets..people relay over them. Most of the time a camera angle can see it and its told to the ref.

What I don't like is now we spend all this time worrying about where the ball was on the Z axis since now you can be standing on the fricking 10 and still have a touchdown.

Pretty sure they use lasers now and not the actual chains. Against Georgia State one of our players ran into the new first down marker and broke it. They had to go get an old one with physical chains to use

They just take the sideline ref’s word for it and move it to this arbitrary spot on the field. It’s complete bullshite
