The ideal playoff scenario for UGA.

UGA wins out and earns a 5 seed. Duke wins out and becomes ACC champions. Texas A&M wins out and beats Alabama by a field goal in the SEC Championship game. Ohio State loses to Michigan but then beats Indiana by three scores in the Big Conference Championship game.
The seeding is 1. Texas A&M (13-0), 2. Ohio St. (12-1), 3. Alabama (11-2), 4. Indiana (12-1), 5. UGA (11-1), …….12. Duke (9-4).
Under this scenario, UGA would cruise to the natty where we would have our first hard game of the playoff against Ohio St./Bama.
We would beat the crap out of Duke in Athens, we would beat the crap out of overrated Indiana, then we would beat the crap out of overrated Aggy. It’s all coming together.

If Arch Manning comes into Athens and beats us, I will tip my cap to him.

They won’t drop them out of the top 4 for losing their conference championship game. If they do, the conferences will stop playing them.

Strange that you are the first to point this out. I thought someone would catch this sooner. Alabama is historically a bad matchup for us.

The best thing about the playoff is you know who the best team is at year end. No one is going to lose 2 tough road games and not be able to make the playoffs.
Win 10 games, get in, then play some good teams and see what happens

Maybe it's me, but it really doesn't sound s if he is scared of them.
That said, I think A&M is a very good team and definitely would NOT be easy to beat. In fact, the only part of his scenario I like is having Duke in the first round.

Ideally, we make the playoffs. We have two ranked teams on our schedule that we need to beat before that's a guarantee. Right now, I'm hoping we can beat Texas. Then Charlotte. Then Tech. I'll concern myself with the playoffs when and if we make it.
