SEC CG scenario

Is there a scenario that BAMA or the Aggies don’t make it, other than them losing the last two SEC games?
Both are the only undefeated teams, so if both win this weekend, are they both in?
Bama loses one, but holds tie breaker over Georgia? If Aggies lose to Texas or SC, do they still get in?
Not sure I understand the scenario since 5 teams have one loss or are undefeated.

If A&M loses a conference game they have to hope that they aren't tied with one other team at 7-1, since they lose the tie breaker.

What would be their tie breaker since they didn’t play Bama, Georgia or Ole Miss?
Unless it’s Texas? What if they lose to SC this weekend?
So Texas would have to beat yall this weekend and then beat the Aggies and they would be in the SEC CG game because they would hold the tie breaker over the Aggies.

I know Georgia holds the tiebreaker with A&M but I am pretty sure Ole Miss would too.

If Georgia beats Texas and Texas beats A&M. Georgia has the common opponent tie breaker.
Further Georgia beat Ole Miss in the head to head tie breaker.

Everybody holds the tiebreaker with A&M, including Texas in the scenario that they are tied. That’s how bad their schedule has been. It’s literally about to break an all time SEC record of the worst conference schedule in history.

SEC championship calculator
Here you go. You can enter in different scenarios and see who makes the championship game. If A&M loses they are out based on their weaker schedule. Alabama loses one and they are most likely in (although it’s close enough between them and Georgia and Ole Miss that they could be left out).

Aggies have to beat BOTH USCe and Texas, lose one of the those two and they're out
Bama can drop either OK or AU - but not both - and still get in

Honestly if you are "in" why would you want your team to play in the SECCG? Yes if you win you could improve your standings, but if you lose or get key players hurt.......

What if you have 2 losses and lose the championship game picking up your 3rd loss while other 2 loss teams sit idle???

How would we hold the tiebreaker with A&M? I saw someone else post that, but I honestly don't know. IF it came down to us and Ole Miss I know we would hold the tie breaker over Ole Miss, though.
Having another SEC Championship, and another shot at Alabama would be great, but, I would almost just as soon not play in the SECCG to keep from having any injuries like Carson Beck last year. I would dearly love to have another shot at Alabama, though.

if you beat us and we beat A&M, Georgia goes because of record vs. common opponents. Georgia 4-0, A&M 3-1.

Gotch you. I was thinking as things stand currently and not scenarios of if Texas beats A&M,, etc....that does make sense. Thanks for answering!

Can always count on GatorOnAnIsland for all things A&M

You would have the better record against common opponents with them this is assuming you beat Texas and Texas beats them since I don't think South Carolina is going to beat them at Kyle.

Bama is in, unless they lose both.
Aggies could miss it if they lose 1, especially if its to USC.

And I will be rooting for aTm when they play Texas if we beat Texas this weekend. Honestly hope A&M wins the sec this year bc that’ll give yall something to shite on Texas with for a long time.
