Why is Heupel so low? We are still doing better than what Vegas and most people predicted, we lost our whole offense from last year and replaced it with a qb who had 4 weeks to prepare, and we lost our starting DBs the first game one of which will be a first round pick. We havent been great this year but also we have been ranked every single week. Thats better than Clark, Sark, and Drink

While Heupel hasn't set the world on fire, Tennessee was picked to finish 9th in the SEC during Media Days.

Crazy Stoops will survive another year.

locked posti wish bama would just let Lane get started next year Posted by JamalMurry27 9/4/25 at 4:15 pm it seems inevitable that lane kiffin is the one who is supposed to sit on the bama throne (unless bama wont ever hire him). i see all the names of the deboer replacements (hypothetical since we wont pay his buyout) and there is only one man who just feels like its meant to be.. Lane kiffin... maybe he fails dramatically, maybe he succeeds...maybe at the very least we are ENTERTAINED. Maybe he wouldnt take the job. But instead of wasting years id rather flush the buyout money and let him get started. To be a legendary bama coach you gotta have some flair and charisma. that being said, he has a cushy arse gig at ole piss, but maybe there is something deep inside him to want to try to beat nick saban's acomplishments at alabama
