So a+m defense has played bottom half of scoring offenses ? And defense has played against most of bottom half of offenses? Cool

And here we are. That’s crazy how accurate the Delta is!

TAMU has certainly benefited from a favorable schedule based on these stats. The highest team you have played according to the delta is number 9 Missouri. The only top half team you will play is Texas.

Meanwhile, Alabama has beaten numbers 3, 5, and 8, and has 7 coming up.

I miss divisions.

Yeah - but when they played Texas, they looked like top half in both offense and defense. Go figure….

Wait, I was told the horns had the defense of the century.

When the season started A&M had 5 teams on their schedule in top 20. Then the season started.

Teams lose. Water is wet.

This trope is so tired.

Agreed.

A&M finally gets to play a weak arse Eastern division schedule that Missouri got to play every year.

Feels good

Our defense is the only reason Alabama is 8-1 instead of like 5-3 right now.

I'm not going to take the time to do the delta, but here's the scoring offense and scoring defense against P5, according to the cfb stats website:

(Notre Dame did not count as P5 for A&M)

Scoring Offense

1 Tennessee 37.7
2 Texas A&M 35.5
3 Arkansas 33.4
4 Georgia 32.6
5 Ole Miss 31.1
6 Vanderbilt 30.4
7 Alabama 27.8
8 Mississippi State 26.4
9 Texas 24.3
10 Missouri 24.2
11 Oklahoma 23.2
12 Auburn 20.8
13 Kentucky 20.7
14 LSU 19.1
15 South Carolina 17.4
16 Florida 16.1

Scoring Defense:

1 Alabama 19.4
2 Texas A&M 20.0
3 Oklahoma 20.2
4 Texas 21.8
5 LSU 22.0
6 Vanderbilt 23.3
6 Auburn 23.3
8 Georgia 23.6
8 South Carolina 23.6
10 Missouri 25.0
11 Ole Miss 25.9
12 Kentucky 26.0
13 Florida 26.3
14 Mississippi State 33.7
15 Tennessee 34.1
16 Arkansas 38.2

There’s no trope. You guys have benefitted from teams on your schedule having poor seasons. It’s not your fault, you just play your schedule, but all of your crowing seems a bit premature.

Such a funny response every time from you.

“BUT OUR SCHEDULE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HARD!!!!”

Well it wasn’t. It’s extremely easy. Accept the fact you played the easiest schedule in SEC history and stop arguing.

It wasn’t even supposed to be hard. You had three “hard” SEC games to start the year. @LSU (fired coach), @Mizzou (3rd string QB), @Texas (we will see). Any team would take your preseason schedule.

I guess cfb stats doesn't count them as in one of the power conferences, since technically they are not.
