Amazing how much better Auburn was on offense without Hugh Freeze.

It makes we wonder what in the world was going on with Freeze. Too bad Durkin couldn’t focus on defense this past week like he normally would.

Didn’t the dud literally have cancer? I would start there looking for clues as to why he didn’t have the same energy as he used to.

They say he was calling plays during games that they didn’t even practice much to the dismay of the staff. Seems very plausible after watching last night. Cam Coleman looked like the best WR I have ever seen play last night making unbelievable impossible catches.

quote:I commented the other day he just didn't seem the same as when he was at Ole Miss. Now he had some questionable recruiting issues that paid off handsomely (Nkemdichi, Treadwell and the best offensive tackle in high school that year) and we know the rest of the story. But, to me he always looked detached and tired.

Wasn’t Vandy the first team this year to score more than 24 against Auburn?
The offense was a complete mess under Freeze.
Auburn had their hands full most offensive production since Ball St

quote:Apparently, he decided to just phone it in this season. After announcing 3 different guys would call plays, the writing was on the wall that the season had a high potential of disaster. As the season went on, reports of him basically living at the golf course started. Either he has a screw loose, or just didn't give a crap due to the golden parachute. Maybe both.

Cancer has many faces. His cancer is the type that watching and waiting is a choice. He is not dying next month. This is not pancreatic cancer, metastatic melanoma, or small cell lung cancer.
It’s a “low grade” prostate cancer. Many men harbor this in their prostate gland and it does not kill them.
Freeze is a fraud and a loser. He deserved to be fired.
He felt enough energy to play more golf than most people.
All that said, I do not wish anyone to have cancer of any kind.

Freeze having a terrible offense is no different than Durkin giving up 600 yards or whatever it was. Auburn is a mess.
