to win the region. Knox is the king of Oxford. Lane is not leaving.

Now that you say it, I see your point. As you can see, Oxford is typically royal blue and gold, but that combo with the powder blue jerseys and royal pants does not look great.

Layla can stay with the kids when Lane leaves.

Ole Miss can have Knox since he's not going to play for his dad.

Everyone wins.

Pretty neat with both small towns and schools roughly the same size.

Starkville is 20-6 all time. Starkville has always been in the highest classification in Mississippi, Oxford has spent time at the second highest, so many of those games was when Starkville was a powerhouse big school while Oxford was a big medium school.

Oxford has been in the highest classification for a few years, and they are the "border" team between regions. Some years they are with the Memphis area teams and others they are with Starkville's region.

This year was one of those years they are in the same region. Oxford had wrapped up the region last week, but was going for an undefeated region record. 7A Region 2 is tough. Oxford had a one point OT win over the second place team, a 2 point win over third place, and this 6 point win over fourth place.

A bunch of schools have them.

Oxford got a slap on the wrist earlier this year. They flashed their lights as an opposing kicker was about to attempt a FG. He ended up missing and then Oxford won in OT.
