Guys I tried to go through and read the threads but I'm not sure I found or understood the answer. I don't have YoutubeTV and usually I just stream the games on Youtube as they never seem to block the ESPN feeds. I have a friend that is a bit up there in years who has YouTubeTV and is afraid he is going to miss the Bama-LSU game. I'm afraid of telling him the wrong package or something...he is worried about ABC games. Is there a package or service that will cover everything. Like will Hulu+ do the job or is he going to need an antenna? Thanks I'll hang up and listen.

Yes Hulu will cover it. But you’re still giving money to Disney

Go to Best Buy and buy him a HD antenna. Small device he connects to the coax jack and then program his TV to pick up over the air channels. He will get ABC free on HD.

Tell him to get Sling plus the Sports Extra. He will get all the ABC / ESPN / SECN games.

Does he live out in the sticks? I’ve got a digital antenna and am getting ABC just fine. Screw the ESPN channels.

Antenna is the cheapest option long term if he just wants abc.

Unless he learns to pirate.

He should have no trouble getting the game with the antenna.

Tell him to do what you do. Get YouTube. That is what I do. I used ESPN for top 3 SEC games selecting ESPN3. If Missouri game isn't listed as one of those top SEC games then I watched it on YouTube. I do not get regular ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU. That is where I go to YouTube. I don't get YouTube TV.

OKI I should clarify...he can't do antenna...what would be the best service that would get all the games. It is hard enough to get him to figure out smart TVs. He just needs the closest thing to YouTube TV that actually will have the games. He can cancel after a month.

Fubo is what I did. And will be using through the rest of the season. And it's cheaper than YTTV (for now). The layout is basically the same as YTTV, in fact I kind of like it better as far as finding the content you want to watch.

Youtube tv lost the contract with Disney so they no longer have abc, espn or sec network channels. Hulu live tv comes with all the channels, Hulu plus, Disney plus and espn plus. You can download the espn app on your tv and login with your Hulu live tv login and get all the college games. They have a special right now for $65 a month for first 3 months.

YouTube or ESPN3 if the game has that option. Click on ESPN app that I added to the app store from my Roku streaming device. Sign up but don't get to watch the games on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU. But if the game is a top SEC games slot then you can click on ESPN and look for other options and should find ESPN3. That should work. If it isn't a top three SEC games slot then go to YouTube. YoutubeTV isn't the same as YouTube.
On Youtube you need ti look for the game you want. I think it is best to sign up and I think I nk you need the zip code. This way it will focus on your area and that makes my search easier to look and I just need to scroll through what it already listed when you log on to Youtube. We'll worth it. It cost me nothing.

try on ESPN3 or YouTube. I have no problem with getting the top 3 SEC game slots by selecting ESPN3 from other options. If Mizzou is on SEC network then I go to YouTube to watch it. I am not sure how that works for you at your location.
