Pure speculation, but there may be some bylaw restrictions on authorities and decision making of one with an interim title. That said, removing it means he is the AD. What he is not saying is that he may not be continuing to shop for a new one. He, potentially, just wants operations and delegations of authorities to run as they are designed to in the meantime.

We don't know and we're no longer going to try to figure shite out either. This entire situation is a massive frick up of historical proportion.
