Something in the air feels like it's a prime week for upset Saturday for a lot of teams in and out of the SEC, maybe I'm just a crazy guy, but it feels like it's time.

LSU in a bit of a tailspin. Just don’t think they have enough offense.

Mizzo on 3rd string QB because of injuries.

Are you thinking more outside the SEC?

I am VERY interested to see what we look like on offense now that we got rid of Sloan and actually started practicing with more intensity and more like live reps for game situations. Apparently, that wasn't being done before.

I wanna see o line play. Also want to see if Baker's d is different without BK there. Baker rolling his eyes at BK never sat well with me.

If nothing else, the team will play with an attitude they've lacked this entire season. Probably one they've lacked the entire previous three years.

If we had one who wasn't focused on his Sunday Golf game as he was his offense you probably would've had another loss AND Mizzou, Kentucky, Georgia.

Mizzou can be tough, MSU can be too I feel like Georgia is not as strong as they have been in the past 5-8 years. Outside Tulane beating Memphis, perhaps Iowa over Oregon, I'm not completely sold on LSU having a chance in hell, Auburn if the play calling magically appears on offense, and they contain Pavia.

I’m with you. Potentially the offense could take a huge leap forward. C just going by what I have seen so far.

Put up 30 and Tigers likely win.

A few upsets happening this week

Inside SEC:

LSU beats gumps
Auburn beats Vandy

Outside SEC:

TTU beats BYU
Iowa beats Oregon
Tulane beats Memphis
Wake Forest beats Virginia

The week after this one has some good upset potential matches.

I think LSU is going to play very well. The coaches might still screw up as before but they're going to do it full speed without worrying about the obnoxious and overbearing Yankee getting in their face.

I expect Nuss to have a 2010 Steven Garcia type game as well.

I agree. I don't think we win but I think we hang for 3 quarters. Bama is still the best team in the SEC.

His OLine may not allow that. Also, Nussmeier was still throwing short passes when he was down three scores vs A&M and needed to take deep shots. They were still throwing short screens, almost like he wasn't even able to throw downfield. He may have healed up with the bye week and some rest, but if not, it's going to tough to get much going vs 'Bama unless his run game is gashing the defense.

No one knows what to expect out of LSU this game. Going to be a weird one probably.
