The guy is dumb if he thinks Freeze was going to lead us anywhere. He's Great Value Gus with huge baggage that would be used to bury Auburn in the long run.
He's a 8-5 guy but has serious problems. Some contingent of AU fans have equated him to Belichick. He's been passed over by every program with an opening for 6 years. Only some AU fans think he's a genius.

Man, I really hope Auburn locks down Freeze with a 10 year $120m contract! Look at all the other programs that have been after him, he's a hot name & we are so lucky to snag him away from all the other top programs sliding in his DMs daily. I did not like Freeze and if Greygoose doesnt vouch for that then he can go to hell. I wanted Kiffin. And was willing to gamble on Deion.
But Freeze did not do what he promised to do. He didn't work tirelessly. He settled. His recruiting efforts were fine. So the Freeze fans were not wrong because they had no clue Freeze would give up.
He also didn't understand NIL even though he was sold as someone that understood paying players...lol.
He didnt give us our best shot. frick em.
Still don't like the piling on. Smells fishy.
So little Stevie needs to shut his trap hole.

I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt as I am prone to do with all AU coaches, until the Mizzou game this year. That’s when all the whining about refs, and “we’re close” and throwing players under the bus, hit a tipping point.
