So hard to tell these days. Rosters change so much year to year, which is made more important in basketball with their small rosters, that I have no idea what’s going to happen. I’m just along for the ride at this point.

Same. I almost didn’t make this thread because sometimes I’ll get bitter about losing and stop updating.
Also, I can just put the WBB schedule in here and we’ll have a nice mega thread of about 60 posts by season’s end. That is if I can find a schedule that’ll cleanly copy and paste like I had to hunt down for the men.

We living and dying by the three again this year, or is that just the landscape of college basketball in general? Made 14, but shot 32.

It's the Lamont Paris philosophy. One thing I did like that we did though besides that was posting up to non bigs. With Lamont's offense you have to have bigs that shoot the 3 ball well enough to pull bigs out of the lane. When we are able to do that as we were in 23', it allows our guards tons of space inside to drive or post up.
That said, 43% from 3 is solid. We would have to shoot 21-32 to match that or 65%. I know we won't always shoot that well, but the guys we have pulling the trigger this season have some really smooth/quick releases.

I am pumping the brakes on saying that until after the So Cal matchup...but yeah, it appears to have been addition by subtraction potentially.
I still worry about that LSU game, and think we drop a few but I am really pleased with this team so far, considering the loss of Kitts and Watson.

Okot may be better than Cardoso and Latson has Fulwileys abilities but plays under control. The 2 freshman are outstanding. Dawn has never had a group that any player can lead the team in scoring. If they can get their defense down this is another Final Four team.

How does Vegas determine these spreads? Is it just based on Torvik or some nonsense like that? Any team we're favored that heavily against it almost just seems like easy money to bet on them to cover.
