All SEC teams, except State, lost to AM this season fired their coach.
What are you thinking, State? Because the win over Arkansas is weighted more than the loss to AM?

I think State is thinking that Lebby Year 3 is better than what they would be able to get in this year's market.

If he'd have lost to Arkansas this past weekend, he would have deserved it. Because he would've ended up finishing 0-16 in the SEC.
But he didn't so he's got a 3rd year guaranteed at this point. And now that the proverbial monkey is off his back. I could see him finding a way to win 1 more to make a bowl game.

He has made some awful gambling calls that are not, imho, poor decisions. He made one in the ark. Game that he should not have, but he got lucky as it worked…..I do think he should get a third year as the team now show’s some very good promise. I’ve been a state fan for so long, Father went there, and I am way past being a spring chicken myself, so the years of sorrow on the football field are usually expected. We seem to do ok in BB and Baseball, FB is our Achilles heel.

Yeah 1-15 is much better.
State is looking at going 2-22 in the SEC over three seasons. Pretty impressive.
