The 1 doesn't count because it was a fake football season because of the China Virus that came from China and there were cardboard cutouts of fans in the stands and ESPN pumping fake crowd noise into the broadcasts (which they still do today).
Vandy opted out of their game vs us, then the makeup game they also opted out of. Reason? China Virus.
Couldn't play Georgia Tech because different conference, two weeks to slow the spread you know, even though we're in the same state.
I think Ohio State made the playoffs and only played like 4 games?
ETA- all the player opt-outs. Remember Jamie "Lajai" Newman? It was all over college football.

There was a time that all anyone wanted was for us to have a coach that could beat UF, Auburn and GT in a single season. Now we got him, and of course some are STILL not completely satisfied because we've been to the top of the hill and anything less is considered redundant.
But for me...I savor one game at a time. And there's nothing more savory than in cfb than beating your most hated rivals.

there's 2 losses but hey who's counting. Any way you slice it, as someone growing up in the 90s that would be UNFATHOMABLE to even daydream about. The way kirby has utterly and relentlessly dominated our biggest historical rivals (clemson included) is just beyond words.

Hell, I never thought I would see us take the overall series lead against Auburn or Tennessee in my life, and I was afraid Florida was going to take the lead against us during my lifetime.
We are 10 games up on Auburn, 7 games up on UT and 14 games up on Florida.
