1- 3 coaching searches in 5 years. Says alot about the fan base.
2- Still paying Harsin
3- Now will pay Freeze.
4- Any coach worth a damn will tie you up for 5 years.
This is the best way to kill a program.

Got it I thought maybe they fired another HC between Gus and Harsin or between Harsin and freeze

It’s like just getting your vehicle paid off and a month later it has engine trouble. You can either try to fix it (thousands of dollars) or you can try and get a new “used” one and hope to get a lot of mileage out of it

Honestly. Who would want to go there under these circumstances?
Fans have created a negative environment and the admin has allowed them to control them. This is akin to a kid pitching a fit and the parent giving in. The kid learns they can get away with it and they keep pushing.

The courts have made it clear that the NCAA has no teeth when these decisions have been made at the legislature level. Lawyers and judges are just as much at fault as the NCAA in all of this. It is a parasitic situation and the “kids”, who are now millionaires, are running wild.
And coaches have no teeth in how they try and treat these players because they just stick their middle fingers up and take their ball and go somewhere else

Should have never fired Gus.
Harsin was one of the worst hirings in SEC history. Made zero sense

This is why James Franklin makes the most sense. They could literally get him for the $30,000 Alabama paid Butch Jones, due to Franklin's buyout stipulations. Franklin won't make more than $8M next year, no matter what. Auburn should let Penn State pay their next coach.
