We have no issues paying top dollar for anything other than our HC in football. I have never understood why we keep looking for cheap options, but it has to end. The landscape of football is one where the right coach and budget will win, and we just refuse to play the same game as every other program trying.

I'm still furious that we let 300k keep us from Lane, I'm still furious that we didn't even call Cignetti or Lanning, I'm still furious we hired Chaggie. The list goes on and on of decisions that we knew were suboptimal just because no one wanted to try.

Who can we realistically get though? Nobody worth a shite. Maybe there's someone I'm totally forgetting or some crazy, off the wall shite like Calipari. I doubt it though.

We'll frick it up. That is one thing I can guarantee.

We can get whoever we are willing to give the right deal to. Indiana is the one of the worst programs in FBS history and they nutted up and found the answer.

If Arkansas hired Cignetti the year Indiana did, it would have been seen at the intro presser as a bigger failure than when they announced Chaggy or Pittman.

The issue is the administration is more worried about winning the presser than they are games.

Just can’t tolerate incompetence. Eventually someone will fall in our lap like 2010 CMFBP did. Cant tolerate retaining a Pittman after a 3 win season.

Indiana has a billionaire single handily funding their football NIL we don’t have anyone willing to do that unfortunately

No they won't. You have to go get them and give them the resources to win. We have a loser mentality with losers running the program. Get the business people out and get people in the understand sports. I've given up. This shite is hopeless. Time to go back to Chaggie mode and not watch for a few years.

Arkansas has the resources. Down playing otherwise has been an attempt to hide the incompetence.

Arkansas is top half in total money spent on the football program in the sec.

NIL is only an issue because it was farmed out to a third party who has the march of dimes model where only 10 cents of each dollar actually makes it way to the who the people think they are donating too.

This is incompetence. It's no coincidence that every school who used this company for NIL management is looking for a new HC this year.

The AD's and anyone else involved should be gone as well.

More likely scenario is HY uses Stephens money to hire PJ Fleck so Stephens grandson can transfer here and be QB.

Hell no. My number one rule is no coaches with catch phrases. He can row his boat back to Minnesota. Thought it was Lindsey that was the QB or he kin to both tycoons?

Well Franklin has about 7 other jobs ahead of us on his list, I can assure you.

Gonna have to take a shot on a nobody and pray we get the next Saban. What’s the likelihood of that, I wonder?
