This all started with Oeaux was hired. Burrow choosing LSU slowed things down. But the decline has been in play since. We are ramping up into the next phase. Its glorious.

How could Alabama's be so smooth, look effortless and had very few leaks? Kalen Deboer was announced as coach not even 48 hours after Saban retired.

No PR disaster, no government intervention, no Foghorn Leghorn governor having a meltdown for 2 days straight, no organizational chaos.
Just a seamless, professional transition unlike Alabama's SEC contemporaries who seem to struggle.

You are right about that. Started fairly normal.

The irony is this has happened literally the day after numerous LSU threads saying the fear is real, best thing that could happen, just what we wanted, LSU is a top 3 destination, etc..etc.. Social media hits incoming almost non-stop now. Politicians clumsily weighing in, Carville weighing in, Mulkey saddened... etc. Good lawd.

It's some funny shite today.

I imagine that Alabama knew Saban wasn’t going to coach forever and had a solid plan in place with the administration to execute said plan.

LSU on the other hand evidently has no university president and had a dipshit AD go rogue and fire Kelly without consulting with the board or having a plan in place. Then the Governor has decided to do whatever he is doing and now they don’t have a president or an AD.

The Bayou is quickly becoming the CFB equivalent of Chernobyl.

All of the agents of the coaches on the short list did as well.

I have gained a new appreciation for Bama's administration and how that was handled. Sure, contingency plans had to be in place for a coach Saban's age, but the best candidate targeted and a deal in place that quickly is uber impressive. DeBoer was always the first choice. Got the best candidate to replace the GOAT...and 2 years later currently ranked #4 when everyone was praying for a massive decline after the Saban Dynasty.

Glad to not be in this flustercuck coaching carousel this year, that's for sure.

Tennessee takes the cake. They stepped on their dick over and over, and the easy fix was hiring the pirate.

The debacle of all debacles.
