What’s so appealing about the LSU job?

Fans are crazy when sober and unhinged when just barely tipsy. And they are always shite-faced drunk so you can imagine their mental state.
The admin are untrustworthy, considering they are trying to do some lowdown shite to avoid paying what they agreed on.
You will always be in the shadow of the Shrimpboat captain who everyone in Lousiana claims had the “greatest team of all time.”
The mascot is hardly original.
The program has a massive inferiority complex .

Undervaluing LSU as a job is always a wild take for me

The only p4 school in a talent rich state. Crazy fans which means supports are unlimited.

Here are the cons:
You live in Baton Rouge.
Title expectations are just short of Alabama and Ohio State.
You have to live in Louisiana.
You are expected to complete for the SEC every year.
Pros:
Obviously a big up front contract.
Don't really need to compete to get all of the contract.
Sounds like a retirement plan job.

Florida and LSU are 2a and 2b in SEC as far as jobs go.
Georgia would be 3 if they were avaliable right now.

Loyal rabid fans, we have the donors for what’s needed and a National brand that’s highly respected across all sports minus men’s basketball.
Recruiting against no one in our state in the Deep South makes us a Top 5 destination for a coach.
Saban saw it and has said it multiple times.
Just so happens people listen to him too, being the greatest to ever do it.

What do they all have in common? They are all NFL elite WR’s that were born & raised within 60 miles of the LSU campus.
Elite athletes like this virtually grow on trees down here and grow up wanting to play for LSU.
Yes… NIL is a big thing now. But.. LSU can, and will in almost every circumstance, match or beat any offer given to an in-state player that they really want.
This is why LSU is so appealing to any coach with championship ambitions.
