J. Jefferson is playing much better and he never gives up on a play. Guy is gonna be a beast in the Nfl.

Hill Green is as well. I fully expect them to be able to stop LSU pretty well defensively.

For some weird reason, UA has always fudged on player’s height in the SID department and they go to the NFL combine and the players consistently measure 1-3 inches shorter. I think Jefferson is at most 6’ and probably 5’11”.

Still, the guy has made plays all over the place. IMO, he’s the kind of player Coach Bryant loved, massive over achiever. I’ll be stunned if he’s not All SEC.

Which players have measured three inches shorter at the combine than they were listed at UA?

Don’t recall names offhand but I remember it’s happened.

Lawson seems to be turning it up too. Our defense got better and better throughout the course of the season last year, and it looks like the same thing is happening this year.

He going to have to get stronger at the point of attack. The missed tackles and people gaining 3 yards after every tackle wont fly in the nfl.

We knew what he was as a player when we signed him out of the portal.

He's never gonna be a 1st or 2nd day NFL guy, but he can be a major contributor when paired with the right system and complementary players.

I'm damn glad we have him.

Im thinking when we got him out of Juco we wouldve liked him to add a little weight and be an every down backer with his speed and explosivenss. Doubt we thought he would still be 205 or 210
