Florida - Franklin
Arkansas - Rhett Lashlee
Ole Miss - Jon Summerall
Penn State - Jeff Brohm
Wild Cards are Eli Drinkowitz and Marcus Freeman. I could see Florida land on Drinkowitz and Penn State get Marcus Freeman. In that case Franklin would fall to Arkansas, Mizzou, or Va Tech.

I would be highly surprised if Rhett left SMU for Arkansas. Arkansas football is a mess. SMU has a lot of money and its a very cushy setup.

he's from there - he played there - he graduated from there
That is very much the "Mama is calling you home" scenario...I could very much see this happening

So what? You need to consider that SMU is very likely a better job than Arkansas right now. Arkansas is hurting bad and the competition is going to be deadly for anyone even considering that job.
Rhett has tons of booster support and money at SMU, and a clear path to the playoffs. SMU is not a poor program.
If Arkansas was certain that mama could just call him home, they wouldn't have been seriously auditioning Bobby Petrino up until we blew that up for them.

Agree. And I think Arkie already has their man; they know it, and he knows it. Certainly, no one wants that job more. Probably no coach ever has wanted any job more.
