I think baker will end up being a really solid coach somewhere. He has to do better against mobile QBs but the LSU offense did his side no favors.

The timing of it all indicates LSU has somebody specific in mind, and had to move on him before someone else (say, Florida...). If that's Kiffin, then he's all offense, and might retain some defensive guys for continuity and recruiting.

At this point, Baker/LSU have about 8 common opponents between this year and last, and 6 of them scored more vs Mizzou than Baker/LSU.

Why would Kiffin retain a guy who just gave up 49 to Aggie and 31 to Vandy? Meanwhile, Batoon put Pavia in a box Saturday.
