Has this ever happened before?

If Kentucky beats Auburn, it will be four this time next week.

This might be a regular occurrence going forward.

It’s an unintended consequence of paying the players. Mid season firings will only go up. Someone has to be the fall guy and you can’t fire the players.

Too much outside money invested and those investors will demand results.

Damn.

Even when schools were firing coaches left and right trying to find Saban 2.0 they usually let them finish the season first.

And all of them after losing to A&M.

Pittman held on a couple weeks longer, and Napier was out after the next game, but his coffin was nailed before that game.

Drink, Shane, and Sark in the hopper.

Entirely incorrect. Good try though. Pittman's fate was sealed after Memphis, imo. He was gone. And then the Notre Dame thing happened and they were like, "actually, he's frickin gone NOW".

Freeze is looking pretty safe.

Sadly so is Stoops

Came here to post that.

The fact that Freeze is still employed given the carnage across the SEC is incredible.

Gonna be a completely new conference if AU, UK and maybe OM open.

Probably not or at least not until the e d of the season. Regardless they’ll name Durkin interim to hold on to as much if the roster as possible. I think UK fires Stoops so it isn’t over yet
