He’d rather try to beat the Dodgers than Jay Johnson. That’s hilarious

If that the case, he will be at Mizzou.

I doubt he's taking a paycut or getting the same money to go to the Giants. My guess he's about to get a nice pay raise.

He's damn near 50, if he was going to be an elite MLB baseball coach it wouldn't have taken him this long to get to the league.

He's 47. I wouldn't exactly call that old. I have no idea whether or not he will succeed in the MLB, but it won't be because of his age

Pat Murphy spent his entire career in college baseball. His first taste of major league baseball was in 2016 at age 57. He just took the Brewers to the NLCS and the playoffs for the second straight season.

Hate to see him leave but I wish him all the best and success.
Good coaches are rare.

You are an idiot. Brian Snitker didn't become a manager until he was like 66. Yet he is the second greatest manager in braves history. If you are going to troll at least try and be more clever

unless MLB changes things significantly in the next bargaining agreement he will always be looking up at the Dodgers

if it doesn't work out he can definitely come back to college and will be fine wherever he ends up

Lol he hates Arkansas. He might end up at one of the Texas schools though.
