Kelly thought Freeman was coming with him to LSU.

We don’t believe Kelly is better than anyone. Seriously, as a fan, if presented with only two options right now, I’d let ole Sunbelt Billy take a stab at things here for a game or two just to see how it would look. It cannot possibly be worse.

Freeman took over a top 5 team where the school hadn’t fully been supporting them like other schools under Kelly. Their extra support now was an FU to Kelly for leaving them.

Kelly’s issue is that he simply doesn’t care to put in the effort and thought he was so good that just going to a school like LSU would give him easy access to a title.

Instead, he has no problem just collecting a paycheck and bitching at the media for daring to question him and saying they are spoiled.


Freeman is overrated as hell and the only reason they are doing anything is Denbrock and their shitty schedule.

Plenty of people did last year during the playoff

If you asked your average LSU fan what they thought of Kelly a year before we hired him they would have said that he wasn’t a great coach, that he never won games that matter, and that he padded his win loss record with a Charmin soft schedule at Notre Dame.

Once we hired him, for many he magically became a top 5 coach with a history of winning. Purple and gold colored sunglasses can be worse than beer goggles.

Now most have finally been shaken from their delusions and see him for what he is.
