Why was the PK put on the field this season with the extent of his physical decline? The guy has heart and is appreciated but why do we not have a reliable healthy kicker? If college football is being ran like a major business this shouldn’t happen.

Well, if it makes you feel better Freeze did say in his press conference he "probably should have went with Connor on the long one."

I think it turned him into a head case last year when he got trotted out as a true freshman and missed a couple of relatively easy FG right off the bat.
Seems like it gave him the yips and he must not have gotten over it.

You have to be sound in your kicking game. Scream it. This may be the worst ST we’ve ever had. It loses ballgames. We were tied at the end of the game. How many FG did we miss?

It’s 1/3 of the game. Any team will be subpar if special teams aren’t sound. Example: Special teams cost us the natty against FSU. It’s the easiest facet of the game to improve.

Alex wants to play. Granted he shouldn’t have tried the 50 yarder but people that have been at practices have said he has been making them. Who would have guessed Alex would miss 2 FGs he normally nails. There is a lot to hate on Freeze for now but Alex getting the 2 earlier kicks is not one of them.

We had some....we are gonna fake going for it then run the field goal unit out there. It turned into a circus, the kid had to kick it on the fly and it totally screwed up his head permanently.
