Schedule sets up nicely, with lots of ranked games left.

Tough defenses against Auburn and Texas, but close with Tennessee.

Probably the most valuable player on any team in the country

He has had 8 or 9 seasons to figure out how to win.

Looks like he's had some coaching up on some humble pie. It's not a bad idea to be less of a douche and stay away from the JF's of the game if you want to win a Heisman.

if they each keep playing as well as they have to this point, Pavia over Ty Simpson would be a travesty, but he would probably get the politically correct vote, which is bs

Pavia's done well though. He's handled the language barrier ok too.

That would be Ty Simpson.

You know...the guy that outplayed Pavia head to head.

His age should work against him, but he is considered a minority so....Haven't heard much about the Heisman talk this year. Must not be the right guys they want to discuss.

He's a hell of a gritty quarterback and the guy knows how to win, but he's not a Heisman winner. He'll never put up the numbers voters will want to see, but he's a hell of a player. Plus, giving the trophy to a 35-year-old wouldn't be becoming of the Heisman trophy.

Put Simpson on Vandy and Pavia on Bama

Then see who's more valuable

Pavia's a one-man wrecking crew

Simpson is a solid game manager surrounded by
5-star future NFL talent

He should have a shot. They have a good overall team but he’s definitely pulling the wagon.

Simpson is better, but he’s on a much better team.

Pavia is way more valuable to Vandy.

Swap teams and I think you would see a major difference.

Simpson hits passes no one else is or could hit. Thats what makes him the most important person in college football. An accurate passer is the most dangerous person on the field.

He and Chris Weinke got first dibs on the rocking chairs at Heisman House.
