Idk about bama. They just needed some time to get going. Simpson needed to build confidence and now is ripping it

Simpson didn't lose that game. Everyone around him and on the other side of the ball did.

I would say the one thing that makes it less shocking is DeBoer's penchant for not having his teams show up against aveage to below average teams that has happened every season he's been a coach at a power conference school. Wash did win every game in 2023, but went to Struggleville several weeks that season against mediocre to bad teams.

At least Vegas warned us about this one. Bama vs FSU was a complete blindside.

Malzahn is our nemesis. It is what it is.

The coaches changed the approach. The talent was there to beat FSU, just not ready to play. Inexcusable.

It just means more in the ACC. FSU might get a conference win by the end of the year.

The other shocking thing is this LSU team was considered a top 3 team

Because voters are stupid, and they think Clemson was good because of Dabo.

Yeah, I'm just talking games and outcomes. There is not outcome for LSU at this point that doesn't make sense in hindsight.

This is true and if you look he’s had one score wins against very average teams especially at Washington. He seems to be settling into Bama role now but I always wonder if we will ‘revert’ back for a Saturday to a FSU type performance. SEC is really a week to week league where anyone not named Kentucky or Arkansas can beat anyone.

Arkansas almost beat the highest ranked team in the conference yesterday.

Kentucky almost beat a team that's been ranked most of the year but probably shouldn't be.

Texas is average. Not sure what is going on over there. Manning isn’t as advertised for one. Sark seems to be doing a bad job with his offensive talent.

Alabama going 6-0 since that loss is much more surprising than the loss itself

Both were the first game of the season. I’d be all for playing big OOC games in week two going forward.

Manning didn't look incredible last year, but a heckuva lot better in those starts when Ewers was sidelined than he has this year. Sark may be an above average coach. He's not what he's been sold to be.

I think bowl season will answer why FSU lost to Bama...
