What is the ceiling for this team?

Georgia has one of the most talented rosters in football, but it is remarkably young. The defense lost a lost of production to the NFL and portal, and many of this year's unit are still very green.

Looking at the depth chart, which younger players have the most room for growth? Could some younger players emerge, especially on defense, that elevate this team's ceiling? It seems like the emergence of a younger talent in December could have a disproportionate impact.

Griffin, Robinson, Quintavious Johnson, McLeod, Elyiss Williams...

Anyways, what do you think? Any player you are excited to see "grow up?" Any other areas of play that you think should improve?

Ohio State struggled with a bad Texas team, I think we can go as far as Gunner can take us as the offense is going to have to cover for the d.

That was Julian Sayin's first start against a great Texas defense, and Ohio State shut it down on offense once they knew Texas couldn't score. If they played again, Ohio State would probably win 34-10.

I have been on Ellis but he got screwed today. The first PI was very questionable and the second was straight bs.

No idea. I really thought the rabbit’s foot was going to fall out of Kirby’s arse today but, somehow someway, they pulled out the dub.

tOSU has played exactly no one. Oregon much the same. Indiana looked good but???

Bama is a problem. Simpson is looking like a solid #1 overall nfl pick qb.

This might end up being the issue. Some of the SEC teams that are good still have tough games ahead and some of these teams will coast to the playoffs.

Great stat! We knew they were young but wow! Knowing that in general heading into the season, I figured we might see a small drop off and then next season return to domination again. Next year will be exciting to see!

Defense really has to grow up and we have to stay healthy. Kinda of the same formula as always. We have to find some pressure somewhere.

UF is going to be a fight. Texas has to win or they are out (also went to OT w KY). Tech should be undefeated and all their world revolves around beating us.

Oh..forgot about Miss St they aren’t going to be an easy out at home.

Lots of work to do.

If we can field a Defense we can make it to the NC. It’s our rate limiting factor at this point now that Bobo has discovered the TEs can double as receivers.

One thing we will absolutely miss is Colbie, no two ways about it. I had hoped that Noah would be that guy but it doesn’t seem he’s even close.

Experienced upperclassmen can trump younger more talented players - especially on the lines where you need grown men. Look at Vandy and that tells you why they’re over performing.

When you look at our depth chart were a pretty young team in a lot of key positions.

I think we could have the best O line in the country by the time the playoffs get here. Earnest Greene came back like on a man on a mission yesterday.

The defense is a huge buzzkill however. If we're being hopeful, Georgia has developed a tradition (going back to Richt too) of getting its pass rush straightented out during the Florida bye week.

Get to the Florida bye week, regroup and get ready for the home stretch. This has been the theme for our program for a while now. We got there at 6-1 in the 8-team playoff era, which is a small miracle, but it still happened.

10-2 and we're in. We'd have been in deep shite if we lost yesterday, but now we're in pretty good shape. Go 4-1 against the following and we're in...

Florida

Mississippi State

Texas

Masschussetts

Georgia Tech

Natty maybe I'm not sure, offense is solid but defense is well it's not great

However the entirety of college football is something else this year no team looks elite. Hell we have a very good chance of Tech and Vandy making the playoffs
