They call targeting because someone was hurt. No review? Georgia player actually targets and no call. Just saying. Football is sissy today.

Eh.
The timeout call was way worse.
It was a bang bang play and I don’t think replay could’ve overturned it.
Even more, if you follow the letter of the targeting rule, Burks likely made some helmet to helmet contact meaning it was technically targeting.

They showed the replay once when they came back from commercial break. I wouldn’t have cared either way on that one as there was contact above the shoulders, head and neck area, of a defenseless player and he was actually unconscious. That didn’t happen without a shot to the head. As a bama fan I was also okay with the no call on the miller hit since both players were going low and looking to lay the lumber on each other.
