He’s 65. Is he really a viable option at any of these:
- Auburn
- Florida
- OU
If not, who would be viable candidates? HC positions will be opening up in the coming weeks and I’m interested in the Rant’s view.

He wouldn't go to the third rate reality show that is Auburn if he was 35. You'll be competing with Arky for the leftovers.

He’s happy where he is. Doubt he moves

At his age, I doubt he wants to turn around a program.
For Auburn, I could see:
- Durkin
- Lashlee
- Mullens
- Dillingham
- maybe the guy at Liberty

Anyone interested in career suicide is an option for the cow college

Auburn hasn’t had a great coach since when? No one wants to come to that shite hole.

Brian Kelly would kill it at Auburn

I think Glen Schumann would be a great fit for any of them.

He has a 13 million dollar buyout if he leaves this year. I doubt anyone is going to pay that on top of their coaches buyout.

good coach, but he is also riding the on the coattails of a future NFL Ready QB.. or at least I thought so last year
That makes a huge difference. He brought him with him when he took the job. They were 11-1 the year before at James Madison and he brought ~ 12 players with him.

I would think that Penn State would be a more likely landing spot for Cignetti.

None of those. There are better options Auburn could get.

This is what I'm thinking. Psu wanted to be in talks with him before more coaches got fired.

I am assuming it’ll be Durkin for a myriad of reasons.

You have the character of your head coach. What happened to all the decent UGA fans? Did the northern invasion of Atlanta wipe them out?

Well at least I don't have the character of yours. I suppose you can take solace in the fact he's a step below Jerry Sandusky, but it's a pretty small step given some of his actions with young girls.
Enjoy another L and look forward to hiring your next program'[s savior
