Serious question to Horn fans. I live 25 mins away from Austin and am curious about this.

Is Sark so committed to the Manning family that he will ruin the Texas program trying to force this kid into the system?

Or after his next subpar performance, very likely OU, does Sark finally go QB #2? And prioritize Texas as a football program?

Cause it is clear to me right now where Sark is at.

Sorry sips fans but in today's modern world on NIL and transfer portal....you dont have time to develop a QB for 3+ years. Texas can easily land one of the best QBs out of the portal for 2025. But what does Sark do????

In the past, the leading indicator for coaching change has been a recruiting fall off. If the top prospects start jumping ship, he won't last long.

Their defense is terrible

He can put Manning on the bench, but it won’t fix this team

The defense is entitled to one free pass. They have earned it. Let's see what they do this week.

The rest of the team (and Sark) are out of free passes.

But your point remains. Benching Arch is not the solution. Benching Sark stands a better chance.

Fair enough, if they can stop Oklahoma’s run game We will say it was an off week.

But if Oklahoma runs on them like Florida did…

Texas has a good D but they are likely deeply frustrated. Time and again they keep the horns in the game while an incompetent O, led by a multi-millionaire prima donna, slap dicks it way through the game.

How many threads are Aggie fans going to start about Texas on here?

I disagree, their defense against Florida was one of the slowest defenses I’ve seen all year

OU’s run game is already bad. If they cannot stop it, yikes.

Why does your proximity to Austin make you so curious about this?

And no, Sark is in for the long haul. Feels like Mack Brown and Chris Simms 2.0.

It's possible Florida's scheme is just a bad matchup for Texas for whatever reason. Last year Texas byes were before Oklahoma and Florida. Florida's were before UCF(had @ Tenner following week, was likely treating UCF as double bye or wanted it before Tenner and didn't get it) and Georgia. This year Florida's are before Texas and Georgia, meanwhile Texas are before Florida and Georgia

Interesting Texas wanted off before Florida both years rather than OU, Georgia or A&M, and this year when both teams had a bye before Florida looked like a completely different, superior team

Playing UF at the Swamp when they are fired up is hard. Plenty of athleats on their team. TX was overhyped along with their QB but the entire team was a bit lazy and never got the big momentum changing play they needed.

No, he goes down with Flood and the O-LINE. Flood should have been fired on the trip back to Austin just like Manny Diaz was fired on the trip back from BYU.

I think Sark and a lot of fans think Arch is going to turn into a good QB with time. But, I think Arch’s ceiling is probably just a good, mobile game manager.
